Rachel P. Goldstein is the Founder and CEO of Agent of Change, a company founded solely on the core value of making a difference in people's lives through its event production, strategic marketing campaigns, and project management. Rachel has worked with extraordinary people making real impacts on today’s culture in areas that are changing the world we live in, such as wellness, peace initiatives, women’s rights, education, political advocacy, social justice, philanthropy and entertainment. Change happens by those who ask for it, and it is Rachel’s fundamental principle to provide those who seek change with the proper tools to achieve it.
Agent of Change is six years old, and has proudly produced a myriad of life-altering events. The rapidly growing company produces events for some of the most acclaimed non-profit organizations, comprised of VDAY, David Lynch Foundation, Tibet House US, Garrison Institute, Define American, The Headstrong Project, Garrison Institute, Equality Now, Team Rubicon, Pencils of Promise, The Blue School, Walkabout Foundation, RUSH Philanthropic Arts Foundation. Agent of Change has seen and generated the growth of so many great names today, including the production of Emerging Women Live and Marie Forleo’s annual Rich Happy + Hot Live conference for three years. The events Agent of Change has produced have raised $60 million + for various charities, which serves as testament to the magnitude of devotion and determination Rachel has for the projects she works on and the people she works with.
Agent of Change has an acclaimed presence within in the wellness industry today. Rachel’s wealth of experience stems from a deep-rooted desire for change in the way the world perceives health and wellness, and as such, has used her skills and abilities in strategic marketing to achieve her accomplishments. Most recently, Rachel served as the Executive Director of the online wellness marketplace app – wellb.me, making wellness more accessible to people in New York City. She also manages the marketing strategies of Dr. Raphael Kellman of the Kellman Center for Integrative and Functional Medicine, where she produced the 2016 Microbiome Medicine Online Summit with 33 celebrated speakers from various fields of health, medicine, and wellness, which had 65,000 attendees. Rachel has also led literary events for some of today's most respected health authorities; serving as Campaign Manager and/or produced the launch events for for Dr. Mark Hyman’s New York Times best-seller The Blood Sugar Solution, Alisa Vitti’s WomanCode, Shauna Martin’s Daily Greens, Dr. Neha Sangwan’s TalkRx and Strategic Consultant for Kris Carr's New York Times best-selling books Crazy Sexy Diet and Crazy Sexy Kitchen.
Prior to her work at Agent of Change, from 2007 – 2010, Rachel was the Director of Program Development of the Urban Zen Foundation, founded by Donna Karan. The focus of the organization is to advance well-being, empower children and preserve cultures. While working with the Urban Zen Foundation, Rachel produced small and large-scale forums, summits and fundraisers for some of the leading partners and organizations.'
Earlier in her career, Rachel served as Vice President of Entertainment and Special Events at Goldstein Communications, accruing many years of experience producing events at the Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, Cannes International Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, and Hamptons Film Festival for a client roster which included PBS, HBO, SonyBMG Film, A&E IndieFilms, Lifetime Television and others. With Goldstein Communications, Rachel directed a number of successful publicity campaigns and special events for the music industry. Her clients included high-profile artists like Eminem of Shady Records/Interscope Geffen A&M, The Roots of Watch Your Back Management/Def Jam Records, Martin Luther of Rebel Soul Records, and Ryan Star of Stone Crow Records.
Rachel gained her expertise in independent and documentary film as well as television working under three of the most prominent filmmakers of all time. Rachel produced Academy Award Winning filmmaker Barbara Kopple’s ABC Television reality mini-series, Once Upon a Time in the Hamptons. As well as, spent three years working with Emmy Award-Winning filmmaker, Marc Levin, on such films as Slam, Thug Life in DC, Whiteboyz, Twilight: Los Angeles and Brooklyn Babylon where Academy Award Winning filmmaker Alex Gibney served as the producer of several of the projects. Rachel was also segment producer on Martin Scorcese’s PBS Special The Blues and led the development of the Russell Simmons Presents: New Def Filmmaker Festival Tour.
Rachel’s success in communications and marketing relies heavily upon her constant efforts in broadening her vocational scope and understanding the many fields of the industry. She has significant experience in political events: In 2016, Rachel produced two events for the California Democratic Party hosted by Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom featuring Minority Leader of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis and Renowned-Activist Dolores Huerta. In 2012, Rachel consulted for the Huffington Post Oasis at the Democratic National Convention, as well as hosted a Rock the Vote event. In 2010, she spearheaded the fundraising efforts for Mayor Cory A. Booker's Re-Election Campaign. Prior to the campaign, she was on the 'NY Film & TV for Obama' Host Committee, which raised 400k for the Obama Victory Campaign. During the Democratic National Convention, she produced the FacesOf 2008 / Art (IM)possible Project. In 2004, she produced the Film Your Issue Campaign Launch at the United Nations. She enjoyed significant acclaim for the 2004 MoveOn.org / Voices for Working Families “Get Out The Vote” Benefit Concert and the“We Will Not Forget Katrina” Benefit Concert. Additionally, Rachel produced the Russell Simmons/Hip Hop Summit Action Network/Playstation 2’s “Get Out the Vote” Concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Rachel produced an event for Senator Chris Dodd of Connecticut at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Additionally, she produced the www.50millionwomencount.org photo shoot for Planned Parenthood/V-Day. Before then, she produced the First Annual Hip Hop Unity Concert as the music component for the Hip Hop Theater Festival at the Apollo Theater.
Corporate conference production is also within Rachel's scope, and her experience in this field includes producing the Emerging Markets Roundtable conference and Turkey’s New Horizon Forum at the World Bank Conference in Hong Kong for Ministers of Finance and Chief Financial Officers of the largest banking institutions in the world.
Rachel sits as the Co-Founder and Executive Producer of the annual Dot2Dot Summit 2009-2017. Dot·2·Dot is a movement that starts with a summit convening the most powerful young leaders (ages 23-45) to inspire and challenge their generation to take ownership and action. It is a network of creative and accomplished leaders that can represent our generation through leadership and innovation and actively engage in the decision making process for the future of our country and planet.
